Diastasis Recti is Not Just a Postpartum Problem

I get messages and emails on a regular basis from men and non-postpartum women that sound something like:

“You know that thing you do to help the pregnant ladies? Can it help me, too?”

They are referring to my process for helping postpartum women with Diastasis Recti and core dysfunction. And the answer is, yes, I help everyone with all of that.

Diastasis Recti, we are finding, is in almost 100% of pregnancies by week 36, which is why almost 100% of postpartum women need a protocol for core function recovery in the postpartum period (or whenever they discover it; there is no term limit for core stability recovery).

But Diastasis Recti is also found in:

  • ‘65% of men with AAA
  • Men who have gained a lot of weight in their midsection
  • Olympic style weight lifters
  • Sedentary individuals
  • People with an eating disorder
  • People who have practiced improper form in fitness
  • People who have had abdominal surgeries

The processes in The Diastasis Recti Recovery System and “Flatten my Postpartum Belly” help them, too.

This is one major reason why I am not considering The ABC Method just a certification for postpartum. It is all-encompassing, to help all of our clients with Diastasis Recti and core dysfunction, no matter how or when it happened.

We have 2 current specials: The Diastasis Recti Recovery System for clients who need help, and The ABC Method for professionals that want to better serve their clients.

How can I help you?
